For more than a hundred years it has been a famous and often visited spa. St. George is located in the heart of Bad Aibling right beside the spa park ("Kurpark"). The hospital grounds are located at the foot of the Bavarian Alps, roughly half-way between Munich and Salzburg and 45 minutes by car from Munich International Airport.
The in 2002 for the first time in Germany arranged competition "Deutschlands schönster Park", the in immediate neighborhood of Klinik St. Georg located spa garden of Bad Aibling was nominated for one of the 10 winners for 2005.
