Classical Naturopathy

The term “naturopathy” means a range of different methods which activate the body’s own ability of self-healing (spontaneous recovery) and use natural agents or stimuli.
These include the sun, light, are, motion, rest, food, water, the cold, the earth, breathing, thoughts, feelings and volitions.  In a wider spectrum are also “natural” medicines, especially herbal plants and their preparations involved.

The "classical" naturopathy includes, in general, the following natural remedies:

• Phytotherapy (use of plant ingredients)
• Hydrotherapy and balneotherapy (hydrotherapy)
• Movement Therapy
• Dietetics (support for treatments by a healthy diet and a diet tailored to the clinical picture)
• Aromatherapy (controlled use of essential oils to maintain health in body, mind and soul (mainly in the professional sector) is based on findings in psychotherapy and neurology, to influence personal recollections and stimulation in a positive way).
