Dr. med. Friedrich Rudolf Douwes
Dr. med. Friedrich Rudolf Douwes

Dr. med. Friedrich Rudolf Douwes was a role model for humanity. His profession was his vocation, a tradition he carefully preserved for his whole lifetime. He was much more than a clinic founder, director and chief to all of us: He was our valued colleague, teacher, and mentor. In his big heart full of compassion, humor and joy of life we all had a place.

For Dr. med. Friedrich Rudolf Douwes his patients always came first. His devotion to the healing profession will continue to be a great example to us all. With tireless dedication he has marked complementary oncology like no other.

People and physicians like Dr. med. Friedrich Rudolf Douwes are rare. We bow to his life’s work and miss him dearly. He will live on in our hearts, where he left great traces. His wife Renate, the children and the entire family can be sure of our support to continue his legacy of a human patient-centered medicine.

The entire faculty of the Klinik St. Georg in Bad Aibling remembers him and bids farewell with great gratitude.
